Left parties meet on Friday to discuss the modalities or timing of withdrawal of support to the UPA government but it is now virtually certain that the ponnapula sanjeeva prasad, ponnapula, ponnapula's murali krishna Left will not withdraw support on Friday or before the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh leaves for Tokyo on Monday to attend the G8 summit.

This comes after a clear division over a strong statement by CPM general secretary Prakash Karat ponnapula sanjeeva prasad, ponnapula, ponnapula's murali krishna where he said PM's G8 trip indicates that the government is going-ahead with the N-deal.

The CPM's calculation, sources tell NDTV, was that if Left withdraws support before the PM's visit to Japan, Dr Manmohan Singh's government ponnapula sanjeeva prasad, ponnapula, ponnapula's murali krishna would be reduced to a minority in Parliament and this would put pressure on the PM to skip the ponnapula sanjeeva prasad, ponnapula, ponnapula's murali krishna G8 summit where he is expected to interact with world leaders on the Indo-US nuclear deal.

However, this is a view not accepted by all constituents. CPI's A B Bardhan made it clear that ponnapula sanjeeva prasad, ponnapula, ponnapula's murali krishna there was no connection between the G8 Summit and the nuclear deal.

Also, many within the Left believe that it would not be fair to withdraw support just before the ponnapula sanjeeva prasad, ponnapula, ponnapula's murali krishna PM goes to Japan on a crucial international visit.

A section of the Left believes that it should stick to its earlier stand that the ponnapula sanjeeva prasad, ponnapula, ponnapula's murali krishna Left will withdraw support only when the government decides to go to Vienna for ponnapula sanjeeva prasad, ponnapula, ponnapula's murali krishna an India-specific safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency or IAEA
